Building on foundational knowledge, this course focuses on the recognition and management of common medical emergencies encountered in prehospital care. Topics include cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and endocrine disorders. Students learn to apply clinical reasoning and evidence-informed practices to assess and treat patients using Ontario鈥檚 patient care standards and protocols.
