This course focuses on authentic and practical work experience in the sport industry. Students acquire practicum placements in SPT200 that build off the placements they experienced in Semester 1 in the Athletics Department. SPT200 practicum placements will focus largely on major sport event planning in the second semester where students will be asked to work in teams to support and deliver these sporting events. During the practicum, the students work closely with various staff in the Athletics Department who will mentor the students through sport related tasks.
