Building on Biomedical Sciences I, this course dives deeper into anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology and explores common drug classifications and prescriptions, with applications for the paramedic field.  Integrated with continued study of the muscular, digestive, urinary, nervous, sensory, and endocrine systems, students will be able to recognize various prescription and non-prescription medications and know their actions, indications for use, and their implications on pre-hospital care.
